Through its programs, Instituto Votorantim (iV) supports Votorantim portfolio companies in executing their socio-environmental initiatives with excellence. These efforts address three major challenges of our time: social inequality, climate emergency, and crisis of trust.

Although the methodologies are scalable, each program is tailored to the specific realities of its context, developed in collaboration with local stakeholders and aligned with public policies. We operate primarily through networks, fostering local, global, and cross-sector partnerships.

Our processes begin with robust diagnostics based on data and evidence, encompassing the design and implementation of action plans, as well as their monitoring and evaluation—ensuring long-term impact, improved management practices, and the creation of positive legacies.

Sustainable Cities and Communities

Directs efforts to encourage the development of resilient and inclusive cities by enhancing institutional capacities for planning, social oversight, and participatory management at the municipal level.

AGP (Apoio à Gestão Pública) Saúde

Colabora para aumentar a efetividade e o alcance de ações de prevenção, diagnóstico, tratamento e reabilitação oferecidas pelo sistema de atenção primária de redes municipais de saúde. Por meio de mentorias e do desenvolvimento de soluções e ferramentas, suas ações visam a redução de mortes evitáveis nos territórios.

AGP (Apoio à Gestão Pública) Ação Climática

Criado em 2023, atua junto aos municípios de pequeno e médio portes no desenvolvimento de ações práticas para o enfrentamento de eventos climáticas extremos. O programa possui diferentes ferramentas que auxiliam a gestão pública na construção de medidas para a gestão de riscos de desastres e para a adaptação e resiliência climáticas dos territórios, por meio de trilhas de formações e mentorias. Citizenship Program

Encourages youth participation in community life, fostering democratic engagement and the creation of plural networks and partnerships for managing civic spaces.

Social Organization Qualification

Strengthens organizations with social missions by enhancing governance, operational capacity, and resource management.

Quality Education

Aims to contribute to ensuring equitable and high-quality access to elementary education for students from various municipalities across the country.

PVE - Partnership for the Valorization of Education

Since 2008, PVE has supported municipal education networks across Brazil to accelerate learning with equity. It strengthens public education management and mobilizes school communities. Two methodologies—PVE and PVE Graduates—operate in four-year cycles to improve IDEB and other educational indicators.

VIA - Votorantim for Childhood and Adolescence

VIA helps municipalities strengthen institutional capabilities to prevent and respond to violations of children's and adolescents' rights, such as abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Programa de Educação Ambiental (PEA) na Escola

PEA builds bridges between companies, public administration, schools, and communities. It promotes environmental education as a tool for learning and socio-environmental awareness, supporting teachers in developing multidisciplinary projects tailored to local biomes.

Productive Inclusion

Aims to create opportunities for sustainable and dignified work and income for populations in vulnerable situations.

Redes para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ReDes)

Created in partnership with BNDES, ReDes fosters inclusive businesses led by associations and cooperatives. It provides technical assistance and investment, strengthens local value chains, and supports business planning to expand market access.

Empreende!

Empreende! supports entrepreneurs in strengthening their businesses, focusing on productive inclusion and income generation through business model refinement and socio-emotional skills development.

PANEM-TEC – Support Program for the New Technical High School

In partnership with BNDES, PANEM-TEC helps state education networks implement vocational and technical education strategies aligned with local economic demands.

Responsible and Sustainable Business Practices

Contributes to ensuring that the businesses’ social and environmental actions generate a positive legacy for current and future generations, based on responsible practices aligned with the magnitude of Votorantim’s ambitions and purpose.

Engaja!

Engaja! helps companies develop stakeholder engagement strategies—from risk diagnostics to implementation—focusing on transparency, mutual trust, and sustainable community development.

Corporate Practices and Employee Engagement

Promotes employee social engagement through donation culture (VIA Solidária), volunteering (Desafio Voluntário), and responsible social action. iV also manages companies’ incentivized resources, ensuring strategic and compliant use of tax incentive laws.
